SUSA's vision is to encourage and equip Christians in the UK to become more extensively and effectively engaged in politics and government

Christians in Politics

Christians in Politics is jointly owned by the Christian Socialist Movement, the Conservative Christian Fellowship and the Liberal Democrat Christian Forum. In 2001 these recognised Christian groups in the three main UK political parties came together to set up a joint initiative with the following aims:

- To recruit Christians into mainstream political parties and their recognised Christian groups.
- To teach Christians how and why they should participate in government and politics.
- In partnership with their Shareholders, to encourage and resource Christians who are members of the three major political parties.

Evangelical Alliance election website (

The Evangelical Alliance was founded in 1846 and is the largest body serving evangelical Christians in the UK. As part of a movement 'uniting to change society' the Alliance promotes unity and truth, acts as an evangelical voice to the state, society and the wider church, and works collaboratively with Alliance members and other evangelicals, to present Christ credibly as good news for spiritual and social transformation.

CARE election website

CARE is a well-established mainstream Christian charity providing resources and helping to bring Christian insight and experience to matters of public policy and practical caring initiatives. CARE is represented in the UK Parliaments and Assemblies, at the EU in Brussels and the UN in Geneva and New York.

The Christian Institute

The Christian Institute exists for the furtherance and promotion of the Christian religion in the United Kingdom and the advancement of education. The Christian Institute is a nondenominational Christian charity committed to upholding the truths of the Bible. We are supported by individuals and churches throughout the UK.
